Jodie Foreman - Director of EMPRESS Australia

(Biography 2008)

Jodie began her performing career with the Knee High Puppeteers in Adelaide, specialising in large scale stilt-walking puppets. After a six month European tour with the Knee High's, Jodie relocated to Amsterdam.

From that point onwards, Jodie's career in the entertainment industry took off. She began directing and performing in stilt-walking, acrobatics, dance and theatre, for several professional European performing arts company's, including Empress Stiltdance (Netherlands), Close Act Theatre (Netherlands), Icarus Perfermance Troupe (Aus) and Alien Voyagers (France) to thousands of audience members in over 20 countries worldwide.

Upon moving to Melbourne in 2006, Jodie is now the managing director of the Australian branch of Empress Stiltdance and a swing dance performer for Swing Patrol's Brat Pack troupe.
