EMPRESS created a custom-made flower installation for the atrium at the Auckland Sky City Casino - Christmas, 2007.
Filling the 20 metre high space with the hanging garden and aerial apparatus. EMPRESS installed roving characters and evening shows for the month of December. With ambient soundtracks by Leyton the atrium became a living tropical paradise with bird song echoing through the space. Stilt flowers, a mantis, a frog and aerial bugs played out their stories beneath this vivid canopy.
Called BUZZ this sensational performance installation is a combination of everything that EMPRESS does best.
