For the opening and closing ceremonies of the sevens Rugby, Feb 2008 Emily Buttle created a dancing Silver Fern.
Broken into 20 individual giant silver leaves the marching team Lochiel created a choreography to match Emily's vision of how the silver fern could be broken up and reformed to fill the field with different moving images.
The result was a stunning silver collection of leaves marching in perfect unison!
